i seem to be haveing some issues with this, the trainer works fine, but when i use the trainer_xex it puts the game back to the trial version i have tried unlocking with yaris and xm360 and gamehacker and all resort back to the trial vers. how do i fix this?

I’m using Spelunky version from xbox-sky. I followed instruction in readme. Unpack GOD, put 3 files from archive to that folder(near default.xex). When I start spelunky_trainer.xex it exits back to FSD. When I start default.xex then game works, but right stick click gives nothing.

What version should I use?
Where it should be located?
Should game start when I run spelunky_trainer.xex?
Any other ideas?

I guess the problem is that you didn’t install DashLaunch.

After Installing it, edit your launch.ini

[Settings]
contpatch = true

If you have Dashlaunch installed, try to remove all the plugins except xppdll.xex in launch.ini.

Don’t forget setting launch.ini for xppdll.xex

when you edit launch.ini,you should be turn off power
then run spelunky_trainer.xex start the game

Nope, doesn’t work.
I have game copied to hdd:!Gamesspelunky. It’s unpacked, has default.xex and buch of files.
I set plugin in dashlunch like:
[Plugins]
plugin1 = Hdd:!GamesSpelunkyxppdll.xex

When I run spelunky_trainer.xex – screen become black for some seconds and then come back to FSD.
When I start default.xex – game starts , but trainer doesn’t work.

Thank you so much for your dedication in creating this, I’m not normally agitated with a game because of having no lives to gain, 4 hits and no matter how far I get, it’s a restart. I just want to see the end.

I followed the instructions in the read through but can’t find where I’m to place the three files to?
User error on my end maybe, but I’m raking my brain and I came to an answer of asking the originator to hope for an answer on this.

I understand the #’s, but when it comes to the files, where are these to be moved to?
I have my actual game on my xbox 360 and I have my save file, so do I need to do something through one of those?
If so which one and what do I need to do with it?

Please assist me. I surely need a play-by-play.
